The giant’s spears will still target enemies along the graveyard path, which makes the trek for collectibles much easier. If you have already met and befriended the giant at the top of the tower, the spears along the graveyard path will no longer hurt you. This is the path that constantly bombards you with spears thrown from afar. To obtain the Grave Key that unlocks the sewer door, you must first retrieve the Mortician’s Ashes from the graveyard beyond the Dilapidated Bridge Bonfire. Irina’s prison cell can be reached via a locked passage in the sewers.
The cell door cannot be opened from the outside, so you will need to reach Irina through an alternate route. Eygon is the mace-wielding NPC who sits outside of a prison cell just before the entrance to the tall tower. When travelling to the giant tower southeast of the boss chamber in the Undead Settlement, you may recall meeting a knight named Eygon of Carim along the way.
If you need help navigating the Undead Settlement, consult our Dark Souls 3 Undead Settlement Walkthrough for further details. We will presume you have explored this location and are generally familiar with the area. Irina of Carim is being held in a prison cell within the Undead Settlement.
